Hello:
I’ve been on your mailing list a while and now, after losing my ferret, I wish to place my remaining ferret up for adoption and donate a very large cage. What would you suggest? I love him dearly but, with my travels, it isn’t fair not to place him with someone with more time and perhaps more ferrets. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
How old is your ferret? Please send me private email to rescue (at) hide-e-hole.com.
Just wanna know if the picnic is still on since it’s raining
Sorry I didn’t see this. I was at the picnic! LOL. We have a shelter, so we always do have them.
Hi all!~ I am a first time, new ferret mom!!!! I do cat rescue and spay/neuter clinics at Animal Rescue League and a few Sundays ago I came across my boy there. I am still learning- I found your site while checking for instruction on giving him his first mannie/peddie. Can I attend the July meeting and is “Squiggy” also invited? Any advice from anyone is welcome!
Yes, we would love to have you come to the meeting. Squiggy is invited, but if it is very hot out, please don’t bring him out. The heat is very dangerous for ferrets and the church is not air-conditioned. We’re usually pretty comfortable, but if the temps are over 90 that day, you’d be better off to leave him home. If the temps aren’t bad, feel free to bring him. (Do bring a carrier with food, water and a litter box so he’s comfortable.) Any one of us can give you an ears/nails demo. Even show you how to brush teeth.
Just wanted to let everyone know that there are 5 BEAUTIFUL ferrets in need of homes at Animal Rescue League of Pittsburgh. I have a 6th that I just picked up to foster because they are in need of space. I took photo’s of the others and they will be up on the website asap! I visited with all 6 today and they are sooo sweet! All are in good health and appear to be very young. If interested please contact the Animal Rescue League 412-661-6452.
Thanks everyone and Squiggy and I will see you at the next meeting!
Thanks for letting us know. Are you on the Yahoo discussion list? You might want to post about it there, too. The group is trferretcouncil on Yahoo groups.
is there any paperwork i have to bring with me if i decided to bring my 2 little love bugs??
No, we don’t ask for paperwork.
How much does the event cost?
Which event? The Halloween Party? Nothing! We have a little raffle to help cover the cost of the room rental, but it doesn’t cost anything to attend.
